Cancellation Policy

24 Hour Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy At The Heart Centre Academy of Healing ________________________________________ Your appointments are very important to Paula Darch at the Heart Centre Academy of Healing. They are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we respectfully request at least 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, Paula misses the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on her wait list miss the opportunity to receive services. Paula values her time. Therefore, she has strictly enforced 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. Any appointment missed, late cancelled, or changed without 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount. The appointment may be taken off of a contract/package or charged individually. As a courtesy, your appointments are confirmed by a message the day before your scheduled appointment by text messaging. From this confirmation message you have the option of the following without a charge: • confirm your appointment by responding to the text message. • reschedule/change/modify your appointment • cancel your appointment • call Paula on 0400668075 Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to prevent any missed appointments which result in a cancellation fee. Any late arrival will shorten your appointment time and will not be made up by running into the next client’s scheduled appointment. We recognize that the set appointment time frames may differ from the actual appointment by 10-15 minutes based on shift changes, traffic. Paula will call the client 5 minutes past the hour of the scheduled appointment to verify the appointment status. All appointments will be invoiced 24 hours after the booking via email to request a 20% non-refundable payment for your session with Paula Darch, which will be taken off the total of your full payment on the day of your appointment. Emergency absences will be considered on an individual basis by Paula Darch. Paula will make the decision to honour your request on a case-by-case basis and will respond back to you in writing within 5 days. It is mutually understood that if a cancellation is due to circumstances beyond any of our control, such as power outage, unfortunate incidence, or weather that requires you or us to have to cancel or be closed during regular business hours, we will reschedule your existing appointment and no discount or charges will apply. Paula feels that it is only fair that she honours the same policies to her clients. If Paula has to cancel a client with less than 24 hours’ notice of the appointment scheduled, she will honour the same policy and your next appointment. She will contact you via text message or phone to reschedule at a convenient time for both Paula and the client. The 24-hour cancellation policy gives Paula time to inform her wait list clients of any availability.
